Dear (insert the name of your friend here),
As you
know, I work on projects in and lead outreach teams to Honduras. Each
day I pray that our work there becomes more beneficial to the friends we have
made there. I continually ask myself
what sets AHMEN apart from other outreach groups. Well, I have good news for you. Now I know!
AHMEN, the
group I work with, has partnered with SIFAT (Servants In Faith And Technology)
to train the future leaders of Honduras in skills such as the following:
- Public Health
- Social Justice
- Active Discipleship
- Sustainable Business
- Appropriate Technology
Most importantly, however, AHMEN-SIFAT Initiative graduates
gain the self-confidence to know they can resolve local health and economic issues
and the capacity to implement their ideas.
Finally, these community agents become the “eyes and ears” more
effectively inform our outreach.
In
almost two decades of mission work I have not more fully believed in any single
project more than this one. Together let’s
work AHMEN out of a job in Honduras by investing in the future leadership of
Honduras. Join us in transforming a
generation by making a monthly donation to ASI today!
