This is still Day 1 of AHMEN‘s Río de Agua Viva 10th Anniversary team!! We visited an incubator project in Nueva Armenia with a plan to share ten live chickens with every family in town. Honduran communities are doing it; they are meeting demands in creative ways. It is still and always will be a nation full of a giving people.

AHMEN’s Río de Agua Viva Team Turns Ten: Team I, Part 3
But I ask, what can you offer? How can you help AHMEN do even more to partner with local families on the road to self-determination? Alone, we can do a lot, but TOGETHER we are the difference!

AHMEN’s Río de Agua Viva Team Turns Ten: Team I, Part 1
Year 25 of serving alongside Hondurans for Honduras --- Year 10 of leading AHMEN’s Río de Agua Viva team
And what a first day our team had! Thanks to our receiving donations of computers, monitors, and printers from Agilent Technologies' Greg Thompson, we were able to partner with Dr. Luther Harry to equip the town of Nueva Armenia with a technology center. You and I take our everyday luxuries for granted, but we can partner with Honduran communities together and put our privilege to work in many sustainable ways. Contact me to learn more about how to get involved with the Alabama Honduras Medical Educational Network today!
Together, we are the difference.

AHMEN’s Río de Agua Viva Team Turns Ten: Team I, Part 2
AHMEN’s Río de Agua Viva team started its first day by meeting Red de Jóvenes de Jutiapa-Honduras to brief our plan for the week and to organize supplies. We also brought a special guest. When Dr. Luther Harry, Secretary of Science, Technology, and Scientific Innovation, thanked me for introducing him to this dynamic young group of leaders, I reminded him that even though we were in their shoes once, the children are our future now.
Work with AHMEN to help Hondurans build the Honduras they want to see.
