Training the Trainer for Ten Years

           

I’m looking for YOU to volunteer in Honduras with me June 3-10!    We are celebrating a decade of work together as a team.  Don’t you wanna join us?! Teach by day; Caribbean and pool swimming, strategic planning, storytelling, and game playing by night 😎 We are a multiethnic, multilingual, multinational team aspiring to give the youth of Jutiapa the leg up they need to become the leaders Honduras deserves!  The youth network of Jutiapa requests we prepare seminars on the following topics:

            1.       Certificated Courses

-          Lessons on leadership, human rights

-          Lessons on specific health topics

2.       Virtual Workshops

-          Social Networks (How to use them strategically for self-promotion, activism, and business) 

-          Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

3.       Professional Development

-          English skills for basic communication and business

-          Delivering a presentation in English

4.       Social and Humanitarian Aid

-          Fundraising for the youth and women's center

-          Fundraising for the basic needs of children

5.       Art and Culture

-          Promoting the municipality through art

-          Creating a dance club

-          Promoting Garifuna culture and history by learning the Punta

6.       Theatrical Presentation

-          Reestablish the theater group

-          Write and develop “dramas” to promote causes

7.       Environmental Action

-          Clean up the community

-          Reestablish community gardens

-          Create a tree nursery

-          Development of a clean community culture

-          Beekeeping for Beginners

8.       Health Topics

-          Domestic Violence

-          Contraception

-          HIV/AIDS

-          Tuberculosis

-          Hypertension
