PSSS...Psss..psss..Hey Jimmy, you ever know anyone in Agua Dulce who needs a baleada and some free health knowledge?
Oh yeah, I know a lady who attended AHMEN's initial ACSI in Jutiapa in 2013. She has worked with mission teams as a liaison for years because she has been a liasion for her community for years. Sonia mainly works with women and children.
As the children raked the streets and gathered trash, Sonia taught the moms about coronavirus.
After the lessons and community service project, Sonia served a delectable lunch.
The adults stuck around after lunch for a more formal coronavirus presentation.
If you would like to come teach with Sonia in Agua Dulce, drop me a line. If you want to donate to her efforts, visit facebook.com/ahmeninhonduras.
Sonia's is just one of multiple aspects of the ongoing sustainable education efforts AHMEN's volunteership supports. Tune in for a Rio de Agua Viva team update!
Together, we are the difference.
